Mihail was born as an absolutely healthy and normal child without any complications during the birth. He has been taken a proper care of during the first months of his life. When he was 5 months, his parents noticed he has difficulties moving his ligaments, holding his head up and sitting straight. Although they have gone to different doctors for opinions, none of the medical specialists seemed to be too alarmed about Misho’s motor development. His parents, however knew that they need to find out what was wrong with their son. In the next couple of months there were numerous examinations and tests to discover the reason behind Mihail’s mobility problems. At the age of 7 months, after an MRI, the little boy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and 3 years later he developed epilepsy as well.
Mihail is constantly fighting for a normal childhood. He needs rehabilitation, speech therapist, swimming and Montessori therapy on daily basis. His family is unable to afford all that but they want to see their child grow up healthy and happy. The child has already been to Ukraine, Israel and Poland for treatments and rehabilitation and there has been an improvement in his condition. Unfortunately, he is still unable to walk. He began his first course of treatment in China, however he will need to complete a few more before he achieves his goal - to walk! Each course of treatment, accommodation and travel costs about 14,000 euro.
Please help those little feet run around and enjoy children’s play.
